Carne Asada Burger

4 Glenmark Frozen Beef Burgers, thawed
1/4 cup lime juice
1/4 cup olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
2 dashes of cumin or chili powder
2 dashes of garlic powder
2 bunches green onions cut to 3/4 lengths
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 dashes of garlic powder
2 dashes cumin
Salt & pepper
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup thick salsa
1 cup avocado, peeled and chopped
2 tablespoons chopped black olives (optional)
4 hamburger buns


1. Combine 1/4 cup lime juice, 1/4 cup olive oil, salt and pepper, cumin or chili powder, and garlic powder in a large plastic bag to marinade. Add burgers to marinade in a single layer and lay flat to marinade for 1 to 2 hours. Keep turning burgers to be sure all patties marinade.
2. Combine 2 tablespoons lime juice, 2 tablespoons olive oil, cumin, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and the green onions in a bowl or small plastic ziplock bag. Marinade 2 hours. Keep turning or stirring so all the onions marinade.
3. Mix salsa and mayonnaise and refrigerate until needed.
4. Remove burgers from marinade and cook burgers over medium heat, turning once, until the burgers are cooked all the way through.
5. Grill onions just until charred around the edges and soft.
6. While burgers are cooking, chop avocado and black olives.
7. When burgers have cooked, spread salsa on bun, add burger and grilled onions, and top with chopped avocado and olives.
