The Glenmark burger was first developed in 1972 which means 2012 is its 40th anniversary. In recognition of four decades of better burgers, three new products have been introduced under the Glenmark Premier line: 1/3 lb. Angus Beef Chuck Burgers; 2 oz. Angus Mini-Burgers; and 1/3 lb. All White Meat Turkey Patties.
The original Glenmark products continue to delight burger lovers: Steak Eaters Burgers, Cookout Burgers, and Great Grillsby Patties.
Glenmark’s commitment to customers goes well beyond its delicious products, impeccably clean facilities and the highest standards in food safety. Glenmark is manufactured in a Chicago neighborhood setting and operates under a strict policy of energy conservation and waste reduction.
Glenmark is also committed to the communities we serve by actively searching out and supporting activities such as youth sports programs, community events and local and regional festivals. Just like we do our products, we stand strongly behind our customers by supporting the programs that promote the family and neighborhood values that Glenmark upholds every day.
Glenmark, which has the distinction of being the first individually quick frozen (IQF) burger developed for home use, is now available at 48 Niemann Foods locations in central Illinois.
Proudly made in Chicago for four decades, Glenmark products use 100 percent USDA beef, and each Glenmark burger is individually quick frozen (IQF) to ensure optimum freshness and flavor. Glenmark burgers are intended to grill or cook directly from the freezer. There is no need to thaw the product.
Currently, Glenmark is celebrating 40 years of taste, quality and value.
“The anniversary is a very special event at our company,” said David L. Van Kampen, president and COO of Best Chicago Meat, Glenmark’s parent company. “The introduction into Niemann’s is icing on the cake.” Download a PDF version of this release.
